14.05.2022 International Saxony Masters 2022

2022_05_14_Sachsen_Masters_4.jpgOn Saturday, May 14th, 2022, the 17 International Saxony Masters for women and men over 30 took place in the Langenhessen Koberbach Center after a 2-year Corona break. The organization team of the Judosport-Verein Werdau e.V. once again took care of an excellent and fast process. 56 judokas from Austria, Slovakia, Scotland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece and Kazakhstan as well as from 11 federal states took part in the competition this year. 56 participants started in the open class and 31 of them in Ne-Waza. The tournament was opened by the Lord Mayor of Werdau, Sören Kristiansen, and the President of JSV Werdau, Dr. Bernhard Brosig. The special awards this year went to Gaisa Zhumaliyev for the longest journey, Holger Jasper from SV Justitia Berlin as the oldest participant at 71, and Simone Glenz Henigsdorfer JC Jens-Peter Bischoff Randori Berlin as the best technician(s).
